Tips

  • When in doubt on Instagram, use 1080×1350 (4:5). If you post manually from the app, 1080×1440 (3:4) also works.
  • Keep text and logos near the centre so nothing important gets cropped.
  • Upscaling small photos makes them blurry — start from the largest original you have.
  • Use the free tool below to turn one photo into every size at once.

FAQ

Which Instagram post size should I use?

Answer

1080×1350 (4:5) is the safest. Since 2025 the profile grid shows 3:4 tiles, so if you post from the app, 1080×1440 (3:4) shows uncropped in the grid too.

What size is an OGP / link preview image?

Answer

1200×630 (1.91:1). It is shown when your link is shared on Facebook, X or LINE.
